Undergraduate and Graduate Student Scholarships

The American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM) awards a $500 undergraduate scholarship and $500 graduate scholarship each academic year.

Scholarship Requirements:
To be eligible, at the time the application is submitted, applicants must be current members of ASEM, must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate program (minimum of 12 hours for undergraduate students or 9 hours for graduate students), must have a graduation date at least a year into the future, and must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 for undergraduate students or 3.5 for graduate students. 

From those applicants who meet the eligibility requirements above, one undergraduate recipient and one graduate recipient will be selected based on service to the campus and the community, career goals and aspirations, academic qualifications, and research interests and involvement (if applicable). 

Application Materials:
Each applicant must submit: 

    • A completed application form 
    • A personal essay 
    • A current transcript 
    • Two letters of recommendation. At least one letter must be from a college professor familiar with the applicant’s academic work. The other can be from a college professor, college staff member, current/former employer, high school teacher, or community group leader familiar with the applicant (letters from peers, personal friends or family members will not be accepted).

Scholarship Award Date:
Applicants receiving scholarships will be notified before and recognized at the ASEM Conference Awards Banquet.
