PHILADELPHIA, the second-largest city on the East Coast and sixth-largest in the United States, is the cradle of liberty, a city of medical firsts and the only World Heritage City in the nation. It’s home to award-winning chefs, was named one of the most walkable cities in the nation and lies less than 2 hours from New York City and Washington, D.C., by Amtrak. Add in world-class shopping, nightlife, culture, dining and outstanding tourist attractions, all within a few blocks, there is nothing missing in this modern metropolis. There are more than 525 daily nonstop flights to PHL. Once you’re here, it’s a 20-minute ride on the SEPTA Airport Line right at the airport or a 20-minute ride in a taxi to cover the 10 miles from Philadelphia International Airport to Center City. https://www.discoverphl.com/visit/basics/

The Host

In 1914, DREXEL UNIVERSITY matriculated three students into the first
4-year degree program offered at the University: a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Since then the College of Engineering has grown to ove3r 3,900 students and granted 799 BS degrees, 317 MS degrees and 54 doctoral degrees. Drexel Engineering is the largest private engineering college in the nation according to undergraduate class size. Drexel University’s Engineering Management (EGMT) program has been highly regarded in the Philadelphia engineering community for over 50 years and was started at the specific request of local industrial partners. The goal of the EGMT program today is the same as when the program was created: to develop engineering managers who are equally adept at managing both the technical and business challenges facing their companies.
